Laphroaig 10 YO
LAPHROAIG is a smoky Scottish single malt whiskey from the island of Islay. The distillery's whiskeys have won dozens of awards over the years, but Laphroaig's greatest pride came when Prince Charles personally visited the distillery in 1994 and authorized its distinctive coat of arms to be used as a sign confirming his recognition of quality and preference. Today, the coat of arms of the Prince of Wales proudly stands on the label of every bottle of Laphroaig, as well as on the 200-year-old distillery building.
LAPHROAIG 10 YO is the distillery's flagship. It is produced using the same recipe that Ian Hunter used to market it over 75 years ago. Over 90% of the casks used by Laphroaig are American white oak exurban casks.
