The Dalmore 12YO
THE DALMORE is a legendary Scottish single malt whiskey from the Highlands region. The distillery was founded in 1839 near Loch Morey and was run by the Mackenzie family until 1945. Dalmore has always been one of the most popular and luxurious brands of single malt Scotch.
Perfected over the last century and a half, the technology of its creation rests on four foundations. These are the unique distillation process, the maturation in the best casks, the blending of the batches by the eccentric but also the perfectionist at heart Richard Patterson and not
last place – the final aging in special, hand-selected barrels, in which some of the most expensive drinks in the world have been stored.
The Dalmore 12 YO is aged for a minimum of 12 years. The first 9 years – in American white oak barrels that previously stored bourbon. The liquid is then split into two. One part remains for the next 3 years in ex-bourbon casks, and the other half is transferred to casks that have stored Matusalem Óloroso sherry for a minimum of 30 years.
