Fundador Solera Sherry Cask

Fundador is the first Jerez brandy in the world

Fundador brandy was created in 1874, when the chief technologist unexpectedly found a cask in which an insolvent customer's distillate was stored and discovered an amazing liquid in it.

It is patiently aged for many years in American oak casks that once housed older SHERRY wines until it reaches its maximum and refined maturity.

This process is included in the Jerez-Consejo Regulador Regulation on Geographical Designation.

FUNDADOR SOLERA SHERRY CASK

Solera Brandy by D. O. Brandy de Jerez, obtained from wines selected for distillation and aged according to the traditional Criaderas and Solera system in sherry casks, in which the best Jerez wines were previously selected.

ABV 36% 70cl

CHARACTERISTICS

• Color: very bright amber.

• Aroma: very complex and balanced, with woody notes and wine aromas provided by the sherry casks.

• Taste: toasted bread, notes of vanilla and stone fruit, with a balance between sweet, sour and bitter.

METHOD OF CONSUMPTION

• Serving temperature: consume chilled, between 10-15ºC.

• Recommended storage: in a cool place, at room temperature.

• Combination: with nuts, chocolate desserts, baked goods and spicy foods (Chinese food).

• Recommended consumption: as a neat drink or mixed with cola.
