Fettercairn 12YO

The Fettercairn Distillery was founded in 1824 by Sir Alexander Ramsay, a Scottish landowner and entrepreneur who was behind the legalized and licensed distillation of Scotch whisky. Since its inception, it has worked in an unconventional way to create unique whiskey. At the distillery, they discovered that when water was poured into the still, the copper cooled. Condensation increases, allowing only the lightest alcohol vapors to rise and collect. That's why they add a unique copper cooling ring around the neck of the stills, through which crystal clear mountain water flows - an inventive and practical solution for creating an exceptional distillate. This technique is unique and is still used today.

Fattercairn 12YO is a single malt Scotch whiskey from the Highlands region, aged at least 12 years in American oak barrels.

It is characterized by a golden, amber color, aroma of vanilla, pear and spices. The taste is fresh, of nectarines, tropical fruits and roasted coffee. The finish is distinct and memorable, with notes of sweet raisins and black caramel.
